July World Food Price Index Rises for Three Consecutive Months

◈ The FAO World Food Price Index  edged up to 179.1 points in July

○ Since a rebound in May 2017, the index has been on a upward spiral for three consecutive months. 
   The index is at highest level since January 15 (a 2.3% month-on-month increase and a 10.2% year-on-year increase)

○ Prices of cereals, dairy products and sugar rose, oil prices slid, and meat prices remained stable.
