Foreign Residents in Korea Fall in Love With Charms and Tastes of Korean Farming Village

The MAFRA will launch a Fam Tour for Foreign Residents in Korea, a farming area tour program for foreign               residents in Korea such as foreign professors of the Hankook University of Foreign Studies, in order to             vitalize foreigners rural tourism.

The MAFRA developed the Rural Fam Tour Course which includes tourist farms, rural experience villages,               recreational forests, local marketplaces, scenic spots, etc. preserving the characteristics and beautiful                 scenery of Korea's everyday life and traditional culture.

The tour program, linked to the host city of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games and rural tourism, will kick off             with faculty members of the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies on June 29 and run until November, with             embassy workers, US military personnel, foreign journalists and employees of major foreign companies in             Korea all invited.
